Labor Relations Director/Paralegal
Position Overview
We are seeking a candidate with a focus on labor relations and experience working with guilds (e.g., WGA, SAG, and DGA).
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients regarding union contract compliance for assigned bargaining units and/or assigned topics
- Advise clients regarding discipline of union employees, including cause standards, as applicable, investigations and rights to union representation
- Responsible for handling union grievances, through pre-arbitration phase, as assigned
- Initial point of contact for union inquiries; triage, research, respond and resolve as assigned
- Support and execute union contract administration
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant labor relations experience
- Proficiency with web-based databases and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel & Power Point
Desired Characteristics:
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Solid administrative skills, attention to detail, and organization
- Ability to manage high-volume and time-sensitive workload
- Ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience drafting, negotiating, and working with contracts
- Ability to work independently with legal teams

Salary Description
$75,000 - $90,000 per year
