Job Title: Legal Docketing Supervisor


Job Summary: 

Reporting to Court Date Manager, (Docketing) he/she supervises the team responsible for the Court Date Management Process. The CDM Supervisor will oversee the workflow of files across all states, ensuring that control reports are reviewed and that the team is maintaining their review lists on a daily basis. The Supervisor will also be responsible for conducting side by side reviews and trainings to ensure each team member is working efficiently and in accordance with our policies. In addition, the CDM Supervisor will be in charge of production management - reporting trends, concerns, and opportunities to the CDM Manager. The responsibilities of the CDM Supervisor include, but are not limited to, the items listed below. It is essential that the CDM Supervisor is dedicated in both time and effort to adequately covering all of their essential duties, as well as any additional tasks that allow them to better maintain the efficiency of the team.


Essential Duties:

  • Assist the Court Date Manager with department operations as assigned and developing goals for team members.
  • Oversee and review the team’s progress with daily lists. 
  • Act as a  resource for the team and escalate larger questions or problems that come      up
  • Be well versed on all processes  and procedures;
  • Main role is to follow up on Rush  Report and completion of tasks.
  • Train and coach new and current team members on compliance and processes pertaining to their roles on the  Docketing Team. 
  • Conduct  regular side by side reviews to evaluate current processes
  • Manage the operations of the team, from scheduling to work assignments.
  • Ensure quality of work while  maintaining quantity of work. 

· Maintain accuracy of work through daily reports and follow up with both team members and Manager

  • Put in the time required to  adequately cover all essential duties and any additional responsibilities  that fall under your purview 
  • Utilize  B&G resources to develop personal leadership skills
  • Help set goals for the team and oversee work efforts toward those goals
  • Provide insight and recommendations for system improvements

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative position in a legal, banking or business field is required. A college degree is a plus. 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Excellent oral and written communication

· Must be proficient in Excel and Word

· Detail oriented

· Multi-tasking

· Ability to use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.

· Highly organized

· Self Starter

· Flexible

Salary Description
55,000-70,000
