Benesch is proud to announce the opening for a Executive Assistant in our Cleveland office! This position is hybrid and has work from home flexibility.
Position Summary:
Do you enjoy being the gatekeeper for your Executive? Do you thrive on coordinating, organizing and managing at an executive level? Are you a calendaring wizard? Then our Executive Assistant opportunity might be just the position for you. This role is perfect for the individual who has solid experience supporting an executive and his/her office with all organizational matters and is looking for that next challenge career opportunity.
The Executive Assistant coordinates all activities of their assigned Executive in an extremely fast paced working environment, including meeting scheduling, calendaring, scheduling, travel arrangement and managing expense submissions in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Functions:
1. Coordinates and manages the complex and ever-changing schedule of the Executive which includes but is not limited to, travel, meetings, appointments and deliverables.
2. Independently receives, prepares, reviews, drafts, and appropriately handles all incoming and outgoing correspondence including phone calls, e-mails, meeting confirmations, verbal and written correspondence and applicable documents in an accurate, efficient, effective, and professional manner.
3. Communicates properly and promptly with Firm personnel and external contacts at all times exhibiting the highest level of customer service.
4. Arranges, coordinates and oversees all travel needs assuring optimal time management and timely arrival to all appointments.
5. Processes complex expense reports in a timely and accurate manner using the Firm's expense reporting software.
6. Thoughtfully coordinates Firm or client events including but not limited to securing venues, contract and budget review, invitations/calendar invites/RSVPs, hotel and restaurant reservations, car service arrangements, processing invoices, and liaising with clients, employees, and suppliers.
7. Serves as a professional liaison between the Executive Committee, Partners, Firm Management, and external contacts.
8. Consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of judgment, discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Performs other duties as assigned.
2. Provides general support for the Firm's ongoing business development interests.

Qualifications:
The Executive Assistant must have a High School Diploma, an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of five years' experience as an executive assistant supporting the COO, CEO or President of a professional services organization is required. Must be highly proficient in MSOffice, Outlook and related softwares, as well as experienced coordinating complex travel arrangements. Must possess superior project management skills, strong attention to detail, ability to adapt to constantly shifting and changing priorities, as well as professional communication, both written and oral. Excellent customer service attitude and flexibility to extend working hours as needed. Accuracy in all duties is a top priority.
