The primary purpose of the GS-12 position: To serve as the installation Equal Opportunity (EO) Manager. The position is principal advisor to the Delegated Appointing Authority Commander on EO and conflict resolution matters.
Duties Serves as the principal EO advisor to the Installation/Center Commander (Director) and senior leaders. Performs EO trend analysis and organization climate surveys. Advises commander on EO matters (trend analysis). Installation Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Manager. Implements a comprehensive and effective installation ADR plan which advocates the use of ADR as the primary conflict resolution option used in conflicts (workplace disputes, unfair labor practices (ULPs), EO complaints); coordinates with Staff Judge Advocate office, Civilian Personnel Section, and local union officials prior to implementation. Represents the installation to a variety of functional area organizations. Speaks for the Wing Commander on matters pertaining to the EO program involving reports, findings, and recommendations. Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Salary- $89,508 - $116,362/year
