Job Description
This position is in a Field Office of the National Labor Relations Board. Field offices represent the operating branch of the Agency and perform the majority of the Agency's case handling work, including investigating representation petitions and unfair labor practice charges. This is a developmental position leading to the full performance grade of GS-0244-13.
Duties As a Labor Management Relations Examiner (Labor Relations Investigator), GS-0244-11, your typical work assignments may include: Interviewing witnesses and taking affidavits. Gathering, analyzing, researching, and objectively evaluating issues of fact to develop sound, well informed, and objective decisions or make recommendations based on detailed investigations in assigned cases. Hearing testimony, persuasive arguments, and receiving evidence while serving as a Hearing Officer. Preparing reports which include a concise analysis of the facts involved in a case, the issues presented, the pertinent evidence on the issues and a brief statement of important procedural questions. Supervising representation elections on behalf of the Regional Director. Salary- $81,186 - $111,966/year
