
Trueline's client is seeking a Senior Tax Attorney e to join their dynamic team in California. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to make a significant impact in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What You'll Do as the Senior Tax Attorney:
- Lead tax aspects of M&A and real estate transactions
- Manage junior associates and paralegals on complex projects
- Engage in high-level client interactions
- Focus on pass-through entities and C-Corporation planning
- Handle QSBS and irrevocable trust structuring
- Contribute to family office planning, real estate ventures, and estate planning transactions
- Provide tax guidance on internal restructurings, litigation, and employment disputes
Must-Haves as the Senior Tax Attorney:
- 6+ years of substantive tax experience with emphasis on transactional tax
- Admission to the State Bar of California
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience managing significant individual responsibilities
Nice-To-Haves as the Senior Tax Attorney:
- Large law firm experience
- LL.M. in Taxation
- Experience with M&A transactions and real estate ventures
