Location: Remote (must reside in California)

Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $130,000 – $200,000 per year + performance-based bonuses

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with experience in civil litigation defense to join a respected litigation firm. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, gain valuable trial experience, and work in a supportive, collaborative environment while enjoying the flexibility of a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation defense matters from intake through resolution.
• Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and legal correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
• Appear in court as needed and maintain direct client communication.
• Manage cases independently while collaborating with senior attorneys.
• Contribute to strategy development, trial advocacy, and long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Active license with the State Bar of California (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of civil litigation defense experience.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Trial experience or genuine interest in trial work is a plus.
