Job Description
- Represent school districts and BOCES on capital construction matters
- Draft and negotiate contracts with architects and construction managers
- Assist clients with bid documents, contract awards, and project closeouts
- Advise on legal issues during construction administration
- Resolve disputes related to public construction projects
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in New York
- At least 3 years of experience in construction law
- Familiarity with AIA Contract Documents
- Strong writing and legal research skills
- Excellent client communication and advocacy abilities
- Collaborative team player
