Reports to Deputy Administrator; conducts investigations of complaints as assigned; interviews witnesses; drafts reports of investigations to Commission; conducts legal research; drafts formal charges of misconduct, memoranda of law, motions, briefs and other legal documents; prepares and conducts trials and drafts briefs for hearing officers and the Commission; oral argument. Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills required.
Salary- $90,931 - $114,940/year
At least three years as a practicing attorney. Member of the New York State Bar. Litigation (depositions, trials and/or appellate) experience preferred. Former prosecutorial experience highly desired.
