Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our firm. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys relative to litigation, document preparation, and case management.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including research, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, and pleadings.
  • Organize and maintain case files, evidence, and exhibits.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel.
  • Review and summarize medical records.
  • Assist in the preparation of responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, and interrogatories.
     
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • At least two years of paralegal experience.
  • Strong research and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with federal and state court procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
Location & Schedule
  • This position is on-site in our Norfolk, Virginia, office. Some overtime may be required based on caseload and deadlines.
     
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. The starting salary range for this position is $51,000 - $63,000 per year.
