About the Role
We are seeking a Family Law & General Practice Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with one to three years of experience in family law or general litigation who is passionate about client advocacy, litigation, and problem-solving.
The position offers flexibility, including the option for part-time hours—making it a great opportunity for attorneys seeking work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence cases.
- Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining strong communication and personalized attention to clients.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on legal strategies and case management.
- Stay current with New Jersey family law statutes and court procedures.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the New Jersey State Bar.
- One to three years of experience in family law or general litigation.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills.
- Experience handling cases involving frequent client interaction and courtroom appearances.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and case management systems.
