KMK Law is in search of a Litigation Paralegal to join our Litigation Group
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Responsible for researching law, investigating facts, and preparing documents to assist with legal matters.
  • Maintains files and tracks cases using PACER and other electronic systems.
  • Drafts legal documents.
  • Prepares and directs delivery of subpoenas.
  • Manages discovery requests and responses using e-discovery software.
  • Assists in deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
  • Prepares correspondence and reports as needed.
  • Handles client interaction via email, telephone, and personal contact. 
  • Manages projects related to the firm’s litigation practice.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred; will consider experience in lieu of education. 3+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office.   
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Initiative. 
  • Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
