Position Responsibilities:
● Keep us up-to-date with entertainment industry and copyright regulation
● Keep contact with our lawyers, making sure they have the information they need, for example research and document preparation for cases.
● Assist transaction lawyer with search of contracts and tracking details of license requests
● Research/Register works at the Performance Rights Societies and US Govt Copyright Office
● Help manage our legal records
Requirement(s):
Must have taken a copyright course and a contracts course
Music business experience*
*For applicants without a prior music business internship: We may ask that your school contribute to your salary via an externship.
Desirable: We especially welcome applications from any candidates who would be interested in starting this internship early.
