Job Description
The Litigation Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the litigation team by managing and coordinating various aspects of litigation proceedings. This role involves organizing case-related documents, facilitating communication among legal professionals, and ensuring that all deadlines and requirements are met. The Litigation Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders involved in litigation matters.
Position Responsibilities:
· Will monitor the distro email for the litigation team
· Send escalated attorney and account questions to the litigation team
· Answer general requests from attorneys and their team
· Set up incoming Agreements within Simplicity and forward them to our clients
· Document POA’s, Cease and Disputes in Simplicity
· Add any incoming documents from counsel to the system
· Respond and Forward all incoming legal calls to the appropriate manager to be addressed
· Request exemplified judgments from the court. Mail them out to counsel when received back from the court
Required Qualifications:
· Associate degree in legal studies or related field
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
