Senior Litigation Counsel

Roblox is looking for an experienced Senior Counsel, Litigation to join our Legal team. In this role, you will provide management and support for a variety of litigation, disputes, and investigations, including consumer, product liability, insurance, and intellectual property disputes.  You will report to our Head of Litigation.

The position is located at Roblox Headquarters in San Mateo, CA. Roblox’s mandatory in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday with optional in-office days on Monday and Friday. 

You Will:

• Collaborate with and manage outside litigation counsel
• Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks
• Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities and subpoena responses
• Address pre-litigation disputes 
• Assist internal investigations
• Support Legal department and team related projects, as assigned

You Have:

• 7+ years of litigation experience
• Must have law firm experience; technology company experience preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic organization preferred
• Broad complex litigation experience, with emphasis in consumer, products liability, multi-district litigations, and/or class actions 
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and risk assessment
• Strong and effective drafting skills
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
• Practical business acumen, driving pragmatic business-oriented solutions
• A highly approachable, collegial, and collaborative approach
• Superb organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once

You Are:

• A member in good standing of the California Bar or another bar association with the ability to register as in-house counsel in California
• An accountable and proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently
