Job Description

Zinda Law Group, a rapidly growing and prestigious personal injury law firm, is looking for an enthusiastic Director of Legal Operations. In this fast-paced role, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the firm's legal support departments, manage training and development of the legal support team, ensure the legal support departments are performing at a high level and are in compliance with firm policy, troubleshoot and problem solve issues, and assist in complex projects.

 

This position is based out of our Austin, TX office and follows a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Responsibilities:  
 

  • Supervising the legal support departments and ensuring that all associate attorneys, paralegals, investigators, and intake staff are following Firm policies and procedures;
  • Oversee the execution of training and development for new and current legal staff;  
  • Creating legal templates and revise/update existing templates to comply with best practices; 
  • Monitor and track various metrics related to legal staff and operations;  
  • Reviewing reports and analyzing the performance of legal staff, problem solve and escalate any issues; 
  • Facilitate feedback to attorneys and legal staff; 
  • Help develop and implement policies to enhance the functionality and efficiency of overall Firm operations; 
  • Managing projects related to short and long term strategic growth and operations; 
  • Help oversee and develop legal best practices, reviewing legal work product for quality and accuracy. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree
  • 5+ years of management experience is required
  • Experience monitoring KPIs and ensuring high quality work
  • Paralegal experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience working at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm is a plus but not required
  • Willingness to do roll up your sleeves and step in wherever needed
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
