Duties This position is located under the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services, Firearms and Ammunition Technology Division in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the expert as the National Privately Made Firearms (PMF) Coordinator and represents ATF's program to external partners, Government representatives, multiple internal directorates as well as to assist with support functions for all current and future programs concerning PMF's. Works to have goals and objectives implemented for the assigned program as well as communicates and works in conjunction with Divisions outside EPS. Develops training plans and curriculums for PMF training for external training and division program personnel, including Division Trainers, Division Coordinators, and other personnel. Advises on policies and procedures and to instruct Branch personnel, contractors, as well as Field Division PMF Coordinators and Trainers. Prepares and provides justifications for equipment requests and the impact the equipment will have upon the law enforcement mission. Engages and advises in active investigations, seizures of evidence, and is a SME for PMF criminal investigations Bureau-wide. Develops, reviews, evaluates, and recommends presentation material relative to PMF investigations and trends. Salary- $142,488 - $185,234/year
