Job Description

Who We Are

Our mission is to enhance, inspire, and grow. We enhance the lives of people by creating inspiring living environments. With over 30 years of experience, we’re no strangers to the homebuilding industry. We are a multi-disciplinary development company with neighborhoods in Northern and Southern California, and Colorado! Since our beginning, we have always strived to set ourselves apart from other builders. We do this by looking ahead. We make sure that the products we are providing are the best for our homebuyers; that they fit into life today and in the future; that the surroundings are inviting and purposeful. When we Trumark our homes, it is because they reach every one of these criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist legal team in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, execution, and recordation of loan documents.

  • Support preparation, revision, and organization of real estate documents such as purchase and sale agreements, title, entitlement, and other documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, title companies, lenders, and other stakeholders to manage transaction timelines.
  • Maintain organized files and track deadlines to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations, legal documents, and other documents.
  • Support attorneys with scheduling, filings, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with billing, expense tracking, and document management.
  • Support legal department systems, databases, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate, preferred.
  • At least five years of legal assistant experience, preferably within homebuilding, real estate, property development, or construction; either at a law firm or an in-house legal team.
  • Understanding of real estate transactions.
  • Extraordinary organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task efficiently, and think independently.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to perform effectively with little or no supervision, and within established time limits.
  • Regular and predictable in-office attendance is an essential job function.
