Position Details:

The Summer Litigation Assistant Internship will be held from June 16 to August 8, 2025. Kobre & Kim is a conflict-free global law firm focused exclusively on disputes and investigations, often involving fraud and misconduct. Recognized as the premier firm for cross-border disputes, the firm has a particular focus on financial products and services litigation, insolvency disputes, intellectual property litigation, international judgment enforcement and asset recovery, and U.S. government enforcement and regulatory investigations. We are currently recruiting for interns in our New York, Washington DC, Miami, and San Francisco offices.


The Litigation Assistant Internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the legal industry and hands-on research experience. Litigation Assistant Interns at Kobre & Kim will engage in research projects on a wide variety of legal issues and will assist with the development of internal firm resources on varying product groups through their research. Litigation Assistant Interns will have opportunities to assist Kobre & Kim’s Business Development, Knowledge Management, Pro Bono and other departments through substantive research projects. On occasion, Litigation Assistant Interns will also join and support case teams with various tasks. General duties include preparing summaries of research findings to advance firm resources on various legal topics, organizing and maintaining electronic case files, preparing attorney and client binders, and implementing organizational systems on case teams. The Litigation Assistant Internship will also offer opportunities for professional development, performance evaluations, moot court activities, and site visits including observations of court proceedings as available. Litigation Assistant Interns develop a strong command of the practical and logistical foundations in

volved with legal work.

                                                      

Job Qualifications:

Candidates are typically high-performing college freshmen and sophomores. Candidates should possess excellent teamwork, communication, organizational and creative and anticipatory thinking skills. Candidates should also demonstrate a willingness and ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. We strongly encourage applications from self-confident, highly motivated individuals who display an interest in exploring the legal industry and pursuing a career in law. Interns are expected to work 30 hours a week.

Additional Information:

  • New York City, Washington DC and San Francisco only: At the time of posting, the base salary for this role is US $16 (minimum) – US $16 (maximum) per hour.

  • Each office operates in a hybrid schedule depending on the jurisdiction.
