This role will be based in our Boston office, on a hybrid (four days) in-office basis and report to the Litigation Department Chairs. Position Summary. The Litigation Junior Paralegal is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for candidates considering a future in law or legal studies. The position offers comprehensive training, mentorship from experienced attorneys and paralegals, and exposure to a wide range of litigation matters across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Draft, proofread, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and exhibits.
Conduct factual and legal research using internal databases and online legal research tools.
Manage and maintain case files, pleadings, discovery materials, and document databases.
Assist with preparing hearing and trial binders, witness materials, and demonstratives.
Coordinate with clients, courts, and vendors to facilitate filings, productions, and other case logistics.
Support attorneys in managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.
Perform administrative duties as needed, including scheduling, organizing case calendars, and tracking case developments.
Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a strong academic record.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with litigation databases or document management systems preferred.

Education & Prior Experience

Prior law firm or litigation experience is a plus
Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
Experience with file management systems or DocuSign is a plus.
The expected pay range for this position is:
$29.84 to $34.86 per hour
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
