Description

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Litigation & Pre-Litigation Paralegals to support our growing legal practice. The ideal candidate will have experience managing case files from intake through resolution, assisting attorneys with litigation matters, and providing exceptional client service throughout the pre-suit and litigation process. This position plays a critical role in helping injured clients navigate the legal process while providing comprehensive support to attorneys throughout both the pre-suit and litigation phases of a case.

Responsibilities: 

 

Pre-Litigation 

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding treatment status, case updates, and outstanding needs.
  • Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, wage loss documentation, and other damages evidence.
  • Work collaboratively with our Medical Records Team to obtain, organize, and review medical records and bills, identify key treatment and damages evidence, and prepare accurate medical chronologies and case summaries for attorney review.
  • Draft and assemble comprehensive demand packages.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and lienholders.
  • Track treatment progress and identify when cases are ready for demand.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all deadlines are met.

Litigation 

  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate service of process and court filings.
  • Schedule and manage depositions, mediations, hearings, and independent medical examinations.
  • Prepare discovery materials, exhibit binders, and trial notebooks.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy support.
  • Review and organize large volumes of medical and case-related documents.
  • Monitor court deadlines and maintain litigation calendars.
  • Communicate with opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and clients regarding case status and scheduling.


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience required
  • Experience in either Pre-Litigation or Litigation; opportunities available in both areas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
