Job Description

We are working on behalf of a nationally respected law firm to recruit a Director of Strategic Growth, a newly created role, focused on expanding the firm’s partner ranks in alignment with its long-term strategic vision. This is an opportunity to lead high-level growth initiatives and play a visible role in shaping the future of the partnership. The Director will build trusted relationships across the firm, develop a strong pipeline of lateral talent, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first conversation through successful integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end lateral partner recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations
  • Align recruiting strategy with firm growth priorities and practice needs
  • Build and manage strong relationships with candidates, referral sources, and search firms
  • Enhance the firm’s talent brand in collaboration with marketing and leadership
  • Oversee onboarding and integration for new partner hires
  • Use data and market insights to optimize recruiting efforts

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in partner-level or senior executive recruiting (legal or professional services preferred)
  • Proven ability to attract and close senior-level talent, experience opening new offices is a plus
  • Strategic thinker with strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Experience working with leadership and navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • Availability to travel nationally
