- Position Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets litigants, determines nature of the visit.
Works with the public and processing payments for traffic, criminal, and civil cases.
Filing Intake, Evictions, Justice Court, and Traffic Cases with heavy data entry.
Answer incoming phone calls from varies litigants, officers and attorneys and handle appropriately.
Ability to communicate well with management and elected official.
Support with special projects.
Position will report directly to the court supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.

- Requirements
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
One (1) year of part-time paid general office/customer service experience performing some clerical duties.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of filing systems.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to create and maintain complex files and written documents.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and remain calm and handle stressful situations.
Ability to work under pressure and public scrutiny.
Ability to independently assimilate facts and draw sound conclusions.
Ability to work well with the public and support staff.
Knowledge of business English, spelling, and arithmetic.
Knowledge of office procedures; of spelling, punctuation, grammar, and arithmetic; and of business or program terminology, methods, and procedures.

Monday - Friday | Between 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Weekends if necessary
Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department
Salary:
- $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly
- Depends on Qualifications
- Based on 26 Pay Periods
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, & photocopiers.
This is a sedentary role, which would require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.
