The Claims Processing Analyst plays a key role within the Claims Administration department, which oversees the settlement process and ensures eligible claimants receive their settlement allocations. This position is responsible for reviewing and processing all settlement-related documentation, monitoring payment statuses, and reporting key data throughout the claim lifecycle.
In addition, the Claims Processing Analyst follows up with claimants to resolve documentation deficiencies and ensure timely completion of required steps. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively under pressure & meet strict deadlines, and excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage professionally with clients when needed.
POSITION LOCATION: Houston (On-site)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain all claimant and case-level data necessary for the successful administration of assigned settlement cases.
- Prepare and execute large-scale mailings related to case communications, ensuring timely delivery, proper documentation, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of submitted documentation from claimants and other parties.
- Organize and maintain detailed case files—both physical and digital—to ensure that all documentation is current, easily retrievable, and properly stored in accordance with internal protocols and data privacy standards.
- Analyze case and claimant data to identify trends or discrepancies that may impact settlement accuracy or timelines.
- Generate and maintain regular reports that track the progress of settlement coordination, documentation completion, payment statuses, and other relevant performance indicators.
- Understand and monitor key project deliverables and timelines for each assigned case, flagging risks or delays early.
- Provide thoughtful feedback to settlement managers or direct supervisors regarding workflow inefficiencies or systemic issues.
- Ensure all documentation complies with internal standards, client requirements, and regulatory expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Minimum 2 years Project Management skills
- Legal/Paralegal education (Preferred)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel)
