Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED or higher, and three (3) years of general clerical experience, including one (1) year of municipal court work experience.

- General Purpose
Under general supervision, function as lead worker and assist with supervising, leading, guiding and participating in clerical duties related to court operations.
- Typical Duties
Assist to lead, guide, oversee and participate in a variety of tasks supporting work schedule development and/or adjustments in court operations. Involves: Provide support with daily logs and reports for monthly statistics to include end recall, paid, warrant issuance statistics & New Mexico and Arizona monthly statistics. Clear indicted & capias criminal warrants on lists from County. Assist with handling of dismissed and cancelled criminal warrants. Track any changes to magistrate criminal codes. Monitor and update training guide per shift. Monitor expired protective orders. Track signed warrants and criminal affidavits signed by Municipal Court judges. Monitor daytime chat and phone queue. Track e-warrants for monthly stats. Monitor and process expunctions. Provide support with daily logs and reports for monthly statistics. Provide support in building court calendar to include verification of all courts being filled, audited, adding/removing court sessions as needed. Monitor and audit the printing of notices on schedule- 12-14 days ahead of court date. Monitor and audit pretrial and show cause sessions are batched. Revise interpreter calendar as needed to include sending out cancellations within 24 hours and reach out to interpreters if needed. Monitor lunch hours for support at customer service counters and phone queues.
Function as a lead worker. Involves: As authorized and assigned, may direct the work of others, including, but not limited to, assign work, delegate, review, inspect or accept work completed. Review and check work. Guide others in work processes. Train and develop employees. Recommend areas for employee skills improvement. Provide input to employee performance evaluation process. Resolve complaints. Recommend disciplinary action, vacation time approve and merit pay. Responsible for and provides support to interview candidates as needed. Provide feedback on staff that is on probation. Back up to supervisor to conduct section meetings, prepare and review agenda.
Perform related duties as required. Involves: Perform duties of subordinate personnel or others as necessary to ensure continuity of operations during absences. Answer questions, provide accurate information to inquiries and assist in resolving problems. Work with El Paso Police Department (EPPD) Liaison for Officer availability as needed and reach out to Animal or Code inspectors regarding availability. Report issues to Justice Systems Inc. (JSI) with proof of errors in Full Court Enterprise (FCE); Test sectional procedures when FCE has an update installed. Maintain open communication with section supervisor on process, procedures and status on section duties.
