Law Firm Carolinas See More Job Openings by This EmployerEstablished law firm is seeking an associate attorney in either Greenville, SC or Charlotte, NC with 0-3 years experience to join our community association (HOA) practice group. Requirements:
• Must have South Carolina license; dual licensure with NC (or eligibility for admittance via a current UBE score) is a plus but not mandatory
• Position will be located in Greenville, SC with occasional days in Charlotte, NC
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills required, including the ability to speak to audiences
Nature of Work: Assist with a broad range of issues that could include:
• General counsel advice to clients
• Governing document amendments
• Enforcement of covenant and restriction violations
• Resolving board and annual meeting controversies
• Resolving neighborhood disputes
• Collection of dues and assessments, including representing creditors in debtor bankruptcy
Qualified candidates will also possess a high degree of autonomy, the ability to work independently, and be interested in expanding the firm’s South Carolina community association practice.
