RAS LaVrar is a rapidly expanding creditors’ rights law firm servicing some of the largest financial institutions in the country. POSITION SUMMARY

Legal Assistants at RAS LaVrar work closely with Production Operators and Operations Analysts to identify, investigate, and remediate cases which fall out of the firm’s production pipeline. Legal Assistants are not expected to draft pleadings. Individuals working in this position are responsible for addressing lists of cases which require more attention to detail than that expected of the firm’s production staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The following responsibilities are central to the role:

  • Review exceptions
    1. Examine cases which have fallen out of the firm’s production pipeline
    2. Think critically to determine whether identified cases are subject to unique circumstances
    3. Diagnose exceptions and report back to firm managers and clients 
  • Remediate
    1. Formulate and execute solutions to ensure exceptions continue moving through the firm’s production pipeline

Educational/ Experience Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Individuals who excel in this role typically have academic backgrounds in operations management, criminal justice, pre-law, and/or data analysis.
  • Experience in a legal office may compensate for education
  • Individuals who excel in this role typically have industry experience in the fields of collections and/or personal injury law.

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite Position - Plantation, Florida
  • Operates no tools, machines or equipment
