Position OverviewWe are looking for a tech-savvy and exceptionally organized Paralegal to join our growing Legal & Compliance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating order, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to leverage technology to enhance our legal processes. This role is pivotal in managing our electronic legal documents, optimizing internal systems, and providing essential support to our legal professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute to the backbone of our legal infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Document Management: Meticulously maintain and organize our electronic legal files within SharePoint and OneDrive, ensuring a logical and user-friendly filing system.
- Access Control: Manage user access rights and permissions across our legal platforms to ensure confidentiality and data security.
- Process Improvement: Take initiative in identifying opportunities for and implementing improvements to our document management systems and workflows.
- Template Automation: Update and maintain document templates to be leveraged for our document automation software, increasing team efficiency.
- Team Support: Serve as a key resource for the legal team, providing guidance on document locations, and best practices for file management.
- Administrative Assistance: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team as needed, including presentation preparation and project assistance.
Required:
- A minimum of two years of paralegal experience, preferably within a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven organizational and time-management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and Windows Explorer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and embracing new technologies.
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and a basic understanding of Python.
- A Bachelor's degree or a paralegal certificate is highly desirable.
