This opening is for a 12-week long internship at our Long Beach, CA office. We have a separate posting for Washington, D.C.
Vast offers an internship program with hands-on opportunities to be part of our mission. Our legal interns work at the forefront of space law across a variety of in-house legal domains (contracts, IP, regulatory compliance, etc.) all in support of building the world’s first commercial space station.
Responsibilities will vary depending on each intern’s area of expertise and location. We are currently looking for candidates with experience in the following disciplines:
- Legal Research
- Legal Writing and Analysis
- Information gathering
- Long Beach internship only: Legal operations development and enhancement (including contract lifecycle management and other legal ops tools)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates must be enrolled in a Juris Doctor (JD) degree program from an accredited law school.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work full-time onsite
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve
- Prior knowledge of relevant tools for legal research
- A positive and curious attitude with team spirit
Pay Rate:
- $38/hr
Salary Range: California
$38 - $38 USD
