Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Litigation Associate Attorney position. This position is a direct hire opportunity in the Tampa, FL area.
Summary
The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for the following:
- Manage commercial and business litigation cases from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
- Develop litigation strategies and recommendations
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Prepare clients and witnesses for litigation proceedings
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff on complex litigation matters
- Maintain case management responsibilities and litigation deadlines
- Commercial Litigation
- Business Litigation
- Civil Litigation
- Contract Disputes
- Insurance Litigation
- Property Litigation
NOTE:::::::
- Attorney MUST be FL barred and in good standing.
- Defense experience is a MUST
Qualified candidates would have the following:
- Active Florida Bar License
- Strong legal writing and legal research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple litigation matters and deadlines
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented approach
- 2 years of litigation experience
