The Project Compliance Specialist position at the District Attorney's Office of the Macon Judicial Circuit plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to various projects and initiatives within the office. This role involves supporting the office in maintaining effective legal and operational compliance, ensuring all projects align with federal, state, and local laws, as well as the office's own ethical and procedural standards.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs for various legal projects, initiatives, and office operations.
- Ensure that all activities align with federal, state, and local regulations and are in compliance with office policies and procedures.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures to uphold compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor ongoing projects for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Track and report on project progress, compliance issues, and potential risks, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure that all required documentation is prepared and submitted on time for compliance reviews and audits.
- Identify potential compliance risks in ongoing projects and initiatives, assessing areas for improvement.
- Education, Training and Experience
The Project & Compliance Specialist should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Organization Development or Instructional System Design. Preferably a Master's degree. Any equivalent combination of education and experience that may be acceptable to the appointing authority.
