Astroscale U.S. Inc. is looking for a Legal Intern to join us for Summer 2025. All summer internships are paid and nominally run from May to September in Denver, CO.
- Under the direction of the General Counsel and Sr. Corporate Counsel, support corporate and space law needs across in-house legal domains (regulatory compliance, contracts, IP, space policy, etc.).
- Review contracts, bids and proposals, and internal documents and records.
- Perform legal research, analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and draft legal memoranda.
- Support implementation of corporate, national security, and regulatory compliance procedures and draft internal guidance materials (including evaluation of legal and compliance tools, procedures, and best practices).
- Assist Policy teams with space policy legislation and regulatory research and analysis.
- Support external engagements, including presentations, speaker notes, and other logistics.
- Gain experience from and interact with team members across policy, government relations, program management, engineering, business development, business operations, and marketing & communications.
- Must be enrolled in a Juris Doctor (JD) degree program from an accredited law school in the United States.
- Coursework, training, or experience related to your internship.
- Fantastic communication skills: oral and written.
