Our Legal Analysts are critical members of our legal team, responsible for delivering legal support in all areas of GreatAmerica’s business.
As a Legal Analyst, you'll
- You will review and analyze documents presented to GreatAmerica by third parties, including third party-proposed edits of GreatAmerica documents.
- Bring self-initiative and an inquisitive, critical thinking approach to responding to questions and issues, with emphasis on first understanding the underlying need being addressed.
- Provide support and training to GreatAmerica employees on an array of legal issues.
- Assist with maintaining various state filings around the country.
- Work on corporate matters for which confidentiality may be very important.
- Actively participate in company-wide initiatives and help GreatAmerica’s business units and teams attain their goals.
- Prioritize projects in a manner that addresses the need to meet deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, a paralegal degree is optional.
- Two years of work experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with SharePoint and InfoPath is a plus.
