Job Description


Position Summary

The Paralegal provides legal and administrative support to the Legal Department by assisting with contract administration, corporate governance, litigation support, regulatory compliance, records management, and legal research. This role partners with internal business functions to facilitate legal processes while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesContract Administration
  • Draft, review, and format standard legal documents and agreements.
  • Coordinate the contract review and approval process.
  • Maintain contract databases and document repositories.
  • Monitor contract expiration and renewal dates.
  • Track legal requests and contract status.
Corporate Governance
  • Maintain corporate records and organizational documents.
  • Assist with corporate filings and annual reports.
  • Support entity management activities.
  • Prepare board and committee materials as requested.
Litigation & Claims Support
  • Assist with litigation holds and document preservation.
  • Coordinate document collection for legal matters.
  • Maintain litigation files and calendars.
  • Communicate with outside counsel regarding requested documentation.
  • Track legal deadlines and case status.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Assist with compliance initiatives and reporting.
  • Maintain legal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory filing deadlines.
  • Support compliance audits and investigations.
Legal Research
  • Conduct legal and factual research.
  • Summarize legal findings.
  • Prepare reports and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations.
Administrative Support
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate legal calendars.
  • Process invoices for outside counsel.
  • Maintain confidential legal files.
  • Prepare correspondence and presentations.
  • Support department projects as assigned.
QualificationsEducation
  • Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of corporate or law firm paralegal experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting in-house legal departments strongly preferred.
  • Contract management experience preferred.
