WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team who is passionate about developing business facing applications on the Salesforce platform and integrations on cloud-native architectures while driving industry best practices. The ideal candidate for this job will have a proven track record of delivery highly scalable platforms and applying expert observability and monitoring techniques.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with members of the Legal Technology team to deliver applications and data integrations to accelerate Nike’s legal operations. You will help develop architectures that serve the technical and non-technical stakeholder requirements, adhering to enterprise standards and seamlessly integrating with the broader Nike ecosystem. Core accountabilities of this job include:

  • Architect and lead the team in the delivery of solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning and other salesforce Components such as Flows
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data integrations and REST APIs to enrich Nike’s enterprise business where it intersects with legal operations
  • Develop and Maintain process and principles on code review, CI/CD and unit testing
  • Make accurate level of effort estimates to requirements and communicate to stakeholders
  • Perform and guide members on development, unit testing and defect fixes
  • Lead the team through Agile ceremonies as the subject matter expert in the landscape
  • Assist in the task breakdown to convert architecture designs into stories
  • Create and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, leadership, and your peers within the engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of multiple platforms. Additionally, you will work with other technology teams that lead the up and down stream solutions to coordinate dependencies. 

WHAT YOU BRING

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:

  • Bachelor Degree or a combination of relevant education, training and experience
  • 8+ years experience implementing Salesforce solutions
  • 5+ years experience developing using APEX and Flows
  • 5+ years experience developing cloud native integrations
  • 3+ years experience working with CI/CD and DevSecOps
  • 3+ years experience with infrastructure as code (Cloudformation, Terraform, AWS SAM)
  • Experience with Python, Docker, and message based solutions (SQS, Kafka) is a bonus
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and product managers to drive requirements and delivery
  • Experience in an Agile or Scrum development environment, including a demonstrated ability to deliver software applications in this environment
  • Proven ability to deliver highly integrated software applications with complex dependencies
  • Proven experience as a member of a large project / project team
  • Outstanding collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and changing priorities
