    • Develop and maintain standardized contract templates and playbooks to streamline contract review processes.
    • Partner with business leaders to resolve contract disputes and provide practical solutions to support operational needs.
    • Monitor and interpret applicable laws and regulations relevant to company operations, with a focus on compliance risk in commercial transactions.
    • Support compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory standards.
    • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various corporate and commercial matters.

    • Advise on basic employment law matters as needed.
    • Strong team building, leadership, and people management experience, including experience managing direct reports, and large-scale projects.
    • Manage the day-to-day performance of the legal team.
What You'll Need
    • Ability to work in the San Francisco office 1-3 days a week.
    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, and current member in good standing with a US state bar.
    • 7+ years of experience in corporate and/or commercial law.
    • 10+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer.
    • Familiarity with employment law is a plus.
    • Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements in a business environment.
    • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, applicable regulations, and risk management strategies.
    • Excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
    • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
    • Working knowledge of Office, JIRA and contract management systems.
    • High level of professional ethics, integrity, and discretion.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Business Wire will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
