
PrimeCare Medical, Inc., a comprehensive health care service company providing care to county jails, prisons, and juvenile detention centers throughout the Northeastern United States, is looking for an experienced self-starting ATTORNEY to join our in-house legal department. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience reviewing and drafting contracts and other legal documents, advising employees and management on a variety of legal issues, overseeing and coordinating litigation with outside counsel, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, and providing advice regarding business liability.
Job Responsibilities
This position will play a meaningful role in the growth and development of our corporate Legal Department by reporting to the Senior In-House Counsel. This position provides support and guidance to senior management, operations, and Human Resources, as well as health care professionals and staff working in the field. The primary areas of practice and job responsibility will include contracts, patient privacy and confidentiality (including oversight of the Corporate Medical Records Department), compliance, policy development and enforcement, as well as managing litigation and directing strategy with outside counsel.
This role operates in a fast-paced and collaborative environment where the ideal candidate will be able to work independently and manage their own workload. The successful applicant will have exceptional research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Independent judgment and decision-making are essential.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission in Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in contracts, litigation, medical malpractice, and/or corporate transactional law.

- $90,000 - $115,000/year
