Job Description

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national defense firm is seeking an Attorney to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent and advise clients on litigation and business-related legal matters
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other legal documents
  • Analyze legal and factual issues and provide practical recommendations and solutions
  • Manage matters from inception through resolution while ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
  • Appear in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related matters
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness
  • Collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff in a team-oriented environment
  • Maintain organized case management practices and prioritize competing responsibilities
  • Support firm initiatives and contribute positively to team culture and professional development efforts

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission required
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of rules of civil procedure and evidence required
  • Courtroom experience required; jury trial experience is a plus but not required
  • Business education and/or prior business experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional, proactive, responsive, and client-service oriented mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in an in-office, collaborative environment
