Description
- Execute required corporate qualifications and registrations; coordinate with corporate agents to evaluate the needs for annual returns, foreign qualifications, business licenses, pharmaceutical licenses, and other governmental filings as necessary to comply with local, state, national and international requirements for business operations; prepare and file registration, annual report and qualification documents; coordinate with finance, tax and accounting departments as needed; engage, direct and oversee work of corporate agents and vendors.
- Assist in the execution of contract execution; draft initial contracts based on templates; draft redlines as directed by manager; coordinate with departments to track and manage deadlines and renewals; assist in execution of Linksquares or other contract management software
- Manage the tracking and filing for key documents, including contracts, licenses, permits, and other tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of required filings with government and regulatory bodies, including Sunshine Act filings, SEC filings, and other required matters.
- Assist with management of intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and patents
- Assist with compliance tasks; serve as secretary of compliance committee
- Assist with the filings of insurance claims and management of insurance policies
- Coordinate schedules, documents, and other administrative tasks in support of disputes, regulatory issues, or other matters that may arise
Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- 2+ years experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in either law firm or in-house
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), DocuSign, SharePoint
