Accessia Health seeks a proactive and strategic leader to serve as the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Development & Growth. As a key member of our Executive Team, the EVP will oversee all fundraising, business development, and partnership initiatives. This role is instrumental in advancing our mission to provide accessible healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Team to develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year development strategy with clear goals and timelines.
- Ensure alignment of fundraising strategies with Accessia Health's mission, vision, and values.
Team Development and Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing, inclusive development team by setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
Fundraising and Donor Relations:
- Oversee all aspects of fundraising, including major gifts, planned giving, special events, grant writing, and foundation relations.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Develop and maintain a robust donor recognition program.
Grant and Foundation Management:
- Lead the development and submission of competitive grant proposals in collaboration with program and finance teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with foundation partners, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:
- Establish and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of development strategies.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize fundraising approaches.
External Representation:
- Serve as an ambassador for Accessia Health, representing the organization at donor meetings, conferences, and events.
- Advance strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration to enhance the organization's impact.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising and development within nonprofit, healthcare, or philanthropic sectors.
- Proven success in securing major gifts, grants, and foundation funding.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing, inclusive teams with clear expectations.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor database systems.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% for donor engagement, conferences, and organizational events.
