About this opportunity:
Ericsson is currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide professional legal services in areas such as contract drafting and negotiations, regulatory compliance, intellectual property rights, and dispute resolution. Successful applicants will play an integral part in the ongoing growth of our globally recognized brand.
What you will do:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to Ericsson, ensuring that our operations remain in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Be involved in the drafting, reviewal, and negotiation of contracts and other legal documents.
- Spearhead designated areas of expertise or projects, including the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Provide training on relevant legal subjects for effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Represent Ericsson in legal disputes and negotiations.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with external legal counsel and other stakeholders.
The skills you bring:
- Minimum education: A (JD)Juris Doctor Degree.
- Bar admission in any jurisdiction with good standing, with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house (the ideal candidate will have both law firm and in-house experience.)
- Legal experience preferably with a focus on technology and commercial agreements.
- Extensive experience in interfacing with and integrating with high functioning teams, including in a hybrid world.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance issues related to the technology industry.
- Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and advise executive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
