Salary
Workers' Compensation Attorney career opportunity with our California law firm client specializing in workers compensation, employment law, general liability, state audits, and subrogation.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers.
- Manage correspondence with clients and draft pleadings.
- Conduct negotiations, depositions, and court appearances.
- Mentor legal assistants and oversee case support.
- Maintain and build client relationships.
- Manage legal documents and billing in PracticeMaster software.
- Host training seminars on workers compensation case law for clients.
Requirements:
- Active California Bar License.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in workers' compensation law (plaintiff or defense side).
- Residency in California.
- Recent experience in workers compensation law (past 12 months).
- Experience using PracticeMaster or similar legal billing software.
- Strong negotiation and client management skills.
- Prior training or seminar hosting experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $120,000 - $210,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
