Family Law Attorney - New Grads Welcome!

A highly regarded law firm in the Woodland Hills, CA area is seeking an family law attorney to work full-time in their beautiful office setting. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to family law litigation and be prepared to handle a diverse caseload of divorce, child custody and other family law cases. This role offers a competitive compensation structure commission, along with excellent benefits and growth opportunities. Candidates with direct family law experience will be given priority, however the firm is also open to training an attorney with some exposure to family law or a new graduate attorney who is the right fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from case initiation through trial, including discovery, motions, mediation, and court appearances.
• Provide legal counsel and advocacy tailored to each client’s needs and objectives.
• Maintain clear communication and a strong attorney-client relationship.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, and court filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Attorney in California, in good standing.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy skills.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
