Job Description

Duties This Supervisory Contract Specialist provides supervision, procurement oversight, and management consultation, which includes making and recommendations to resolve specific problems pertaining to procurement and support services activities. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Supervisory Contract Specialist support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Columbia, located in Washington, District of Columbia, focusing in the areas of procurement; support services; management analysis. Typical work assignments will include: Communicating the USAO-DC's goals, objectives, procedures, and methodology to subordinates and articulates and communicates problems to be solved, program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completing the assigned work. Directing and/or reviewing requisitions and determining appropriate method of procurement, i.e., contract type, formal advertising, Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), General Administrative Services (GSA), Government-Wide Agency- Contracts (GWAC), Requests for Proposals (RFP) or Invitation for Bids (IFB) or other means. Directing and/or conducting analyses involving the spectrum of support services requirements for the USAO-DC. Salary- $121,785 - $158,322/year
