Schedule: Onsite or Hybrid (varies by office); full-time with standard expectations (1850+ annually)

Salary: Estimated base range of $215,000 to $420,000 depending on office location and class year, plus performance-based bonuses.

The Client:

An AmLaw 20 firm with a premier IP litigation practice representing leading technology, life sciences, and consumer products companies in high-stakes patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes. The team is known for its trial capabilities and deep technical expertise.

Description:

You will represent clients in all stages of IP litigation, from pre-suit investigations through trial and appeal. Matters include patent infringement actions, trademark disputes, trade secret misappropriation cases, and copyright claims before federal courts, the ITC, and the PTAB. You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, work with technical experts, conduct depositions, and prepare trial strategy. The role offers hands-on litigation experience, client-facing opportunities, and mentorship from nationally recognized trial lawyers.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school; admission in the relevant state bar or eligibility to obtain promptly.
• Preferred class years: 2018–2022 (mid-level) or 2015+ (senior lateral).
• Significant experience in patent litigation, trademark disputes, or other IP matters.
• Technical background (engineering, computer science, life sciences) preferred but not required.
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases with multiple stakeholders.
• Trial and/or ITC/PTAB experience is a plus.
