Description

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney licensed to practice law and in good standing in North Carolina and applicable Federal bankruptcy courts.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans
  • Chapter 11 experience and adversary matters experience a plus
  • Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc.
  • Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of bankruptcy experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters
  • Admitted to practice and in good standing in Georgia and all federal bankruptcy courts
  • Admitted to practice in other states a plus
  • Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research
  • Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload
