Work Location
This position is based onsite at our current Bell, CA office and will transition to our new Beverly Hills, CA headquarters in February 2026. Candidates must be able to commute to both locations.

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Senior Paralegal to join our legal team and contribute to our organization's success. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our legal operations and work closely with the General Counsel on a variety of legal matters.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Paralegal at FAM LLC, you will play a critical role in supporting our legal operations and the General Counsel in various legal matters. We are looking for candidates with experience in a busy law firm litigation setting, supporting multiple clients and industries. In-house experience is a plus. Your responsibilities will include research, document preparation, and other legal tasks to ensure our organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Familiarity with LexisNexis, discovery databases, dockets, pleadings, court rules and contract management software such as CONGA is highly desirable. Please note that this role may require occasional travel to executive locations for obtaining signatures on documents, attending offsite meetings, etc. Therefore, reliable personal transportation with a valid Class C driver's license and proof of insurance is required.  The position is not remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Counsel in managing and coordinating all aspects of litigation, including case intake, document management, correspondence, service of process and documents and discovery.
  • Build out Legal Department and functions
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and legal decision-making.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and other legal correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with external counsel, vendors, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Counsel, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters, such as entity formation, corporate records, and compliance.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company and inform the legal team of any potential impacts.
  • Utilize LexisNexis and contract management software (e.g., CONGA) for research, document retrieval, and contract management tasks.
  • Perform additional legal and administrative tasks as required.
  • Liaise with court staff and opposing counsel.
  • Create and manage litigation calendar.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on litigation and corporate matters.
  • Prior experience supporting multiple clients and industries at a law firm is a must, in-house experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research methods and databases, including LexisNexis.
  • Familiarity with contract management software, such as CONGA, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software/tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet and anticipate deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (if applicable).
  • Flexibility, proactiveness and dedication to mission completion.

COMPENSATION

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).

$45 - $65 USD
