SubroIQ is seeking a Subrogation Staff Attorney as we continue to grow our team. The Staff Attorney is responsible for performing legal support-related duties at a level that establishes a high-performance standard. The position is inclusive of, but not limited to, the drafting and review of legal documents, legal research, and monitoring of subrogation recovery efforts in their assigned line of business.
Job Responsibilities:
SubroIQ is seeking a Subrogation Staff Attorney as we continue to grow our team. The Staff Attorney is responsible for performing legal support-related duties at a level that establishes a high-performance standard. The position is inclusive of, but not limited to, the drafting and review of legal documents, legal research, and monitoring of subrogation recovery efforts in their assigned line of business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and review legal documents
- Update and maintain state law outlines, including applicable changes.
- Support subrogation recovery efforts by completing case review requests
- Give clear and concise legal opinions as it relates to each specific file questions
- Research applicable case law and statutes
- Train employees on legal issues, such as: state law changes, state law concepts,
- legal documents, etc.
- Help file handlers negotiate files
- Juris Doctorate
- Above average oral and written communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrable ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrable ability to assist in a team environment with employees of all skill
- levels
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability and desire to work in a goal oriented environment
- Strong research skills using Lexis/Nexis and/or Westlaw

- Salary is $65,000 - $75,000 (DOE)
