Job Description

POSITION:        Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel 

LOCATION:      New York, NY

HOURS:             Full-Time

COMPENSATION: Range $60K- $70K

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

ATG is seeking an Executive Assistant for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and General Counsel (GC). This role requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail, supporting the executives in managing schedules, coordinating key meetings, preparing documents, and managing communications. The Ideal candidate should have experience handling sensitive legal and financial information and be willing to become a notary public if not already certified.  
 

PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS

 

  • Manage and coordinate calendars for the CFO and GC, including scheduling, prioritizing, and adjusting meetings to accommodate shifting priorities.
  • Screen and prioritize emails, and other communications, responding on behalf of the executives when appropriate.
  • Prepare, submit and track expense reports,
  • Manage and coordinate travel and travel-related activities, including hotel bookings and transportation.
  • Manage and track legal spend and complete routine legal documents as instructed. 
  • Complete organizational and office support, such as email correspondence, spreadsheet preparation, Power Point slides, and maintenance of the filing system.

 

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS 

  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable time-management skills and the experience to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power Point, and other office productivity tools, with quickness to learn new software and systems
  • Flexible team player prepared to do what it takes to get the job done; versatile and enjoys a challenge
  • Enjoyment of live entertainment a plus but not a requirement

 

COMPETENCIES 

  • Experience managing schedules and high volume of correspondence
  • Experience creating internal processes and filing systems
