Your Role: First Point of Contact for Legal Funding
As Application Intake Specialist, you'll process funding applications from plaintiffs and attorneys while providing compassionate client support in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication
- Handle inbound calls/emails from plaintiffs and attorneys with professionalism and empathy
- Guide clients through application processes and explain funding requirements
- Provide exceptional service to clients experiencing legal and financial stress
Application Processing
- Process new funding applications efficiently and accurately
- Conduct initial screening for funding criteria and compliance
- Review forms for completeness and identify missing information
- Manage high-volume intake while maintaining quality standards
Document Management
- Collect and verify police reports, medical records, attorney letters, and court filings
- Follow up systematically with law firms for additional documentation
- Organize case files and maintain accurate records in case management system
- Prepare comprehensive packages for underwriting review
Quality & Compliance
- Input case data with precision for underwriting team
- Ensure proper file organization per company procedures
- Identify red flags or inconsistencies for escalation
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection
What You Need
Required:
- High school diploma (college degree preferred)
- 1-2+ years legal intake experience, preferably in personal injury law firms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM/case management systems experience
- Comfortable with sensitive legal and medical information
Strongly Preferred:
- Personal injury law firm intake experience
- Familiarity with medical records, police reports, and legal documentation
- Experience with personal injury case timelines and settlement processes
- Knowledge of medical terminology and injury-related documentation
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)

- Proven experience managing personal injury case intake and client communications
- Strong understanding of PI case documentation and settlement processes
- Expert multitasking in deadline-driven legal environment
- Proactive problem-solving with complex legal and medical documentation
